First some clarification on the name "Oil Lamp".
Paraffin Lamps have a Chimney and a means of controlling the fuel burn, ie; a wick riser and carrier, this means that they can be used indoors, will burn efficiently and safely.
Oil & B.B.Q. Lights have no means of controlling the fuel burn, do not as a rule have a chimney and will burn the wick almost as quickly as the fuel.
