Some lamps can use other fuels but they will usually work on Paraffin
because today's Paraffin is more highly refined and has a cleaner burn when compared to that of the past. Standard Paraffin is usually used in Greenhouse Heaters and other outdoor appliances. Odure Free Paraffin has a lower Sulphur content and a higher flashpoint and is recomended for use indoors. There is very little difference between odure free Paraffin and Lamp Oil other than Price. CITRONELLA Oil should not be used in Lamps it clogs the wick and never indoors, it should only be used in Garden burners of the BBQ type
